(ULA photo)
The United Launch Alliance is set to launch a spy satellite from the Central Coast Friday night

It could be a spectacular sight Friday night.

Plans call for the launch of a rocket with a spy satellite from the Central Coast.

The United Launch Alliance is set to send the Delta IV rocket up during a launch window which opens at 8:19 p.m.  It’s carrying a satellite from the National Reconnaissance Office.

If the weather remains clear, the launch from Vandenberg Air Force Base should be visible throughout the Central and South Coasts.
