Another Storm System Headed To Central, South Coasts Over Weekend; Rainfall Predicted To Be Light

Friday is the calm between the storms, with more rain headed to the Central and South Coasts this weekend. But, the latest storm system headed our way isn’t expected to amount to much in the way of rainfall for our region.

The update on the forecast shows the possibility of a quarter inch of rain on the Central Coast, and little more than a few sprinkles on the South Coast Saturday night into Sunday.

Two troughs now in the Pacific are expected to merge early next week, bringing the potential for significant rainfall Tuesday or Wednesday. But the exact timing of the rain’s arrival, and the projected amount of rainfall are still unclear.
