It wasn’t just hundreds of thousands of people forced to evacuate in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties due to the Woolsey and Hill brush fires.

Thousands of animals have also been impacted.

It sounds like what you would use to stock an ark: Two cows, two pigs, two parrots, and four goats. But that’s just a fraction of the more than 150 evacuated animals being hosted by the Humane Society of Ventura County.

The list of evacuated animals includes 49 ducks, three bulls, nine mini horses and 71 full sized horses. Officials say public support makes it possible for the Humane Society to help.
