Man Gets 16 Years To Life Sentence For Brutal South Coast Murder; Victim Stabbed More Than 50 Times

A man could potentially spend the rest of his life behind bars for a brutal South Coast killing in which the victim was stabbed more than 50 times.

Samuel Bautista Justo was found dead in Santa Barbara in September of 2010.

Santa Barbara Police identified Eutimio Aispuro as a suspect, but detectives say he fled to Mexico, where he lived for about six years after the killing.  In 2016, he was arrested in Arizona, and identified with the help of fingerprints.

He pled guilty of second degree murder, confessing that he killed the victim after the two had a sexual encounter.  Aispuro received a 16 years to life prison sentence.
