Federal Prosecutors Ready To Investigate Any Election Irregularity Charges

Two Assistant United States Attorneys are on standby to handle any election fraud, or voting rights abuse allegations which might arise on the Central and South Coasts Election Day.

Eric Silber and Lindsey Dotson will serve as District Election Officers for the Central District of California. The District includes seven counties, including Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo Counties.

The Justice Department investigates charges like discrimination and election fraud. Federal laws are intended to protect against issues like voter fraud and stuffing ballot boxes.

The Elections Officers will be available all day Tuesday at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles to insure that complaints can be investigated on a timely basis.
