Authorities have released the name of a UC Santa Barbara student whose body was found on an Isla Vista beach over the weekend.
People walking near the Camino Del Sur beach access spotted the body of Alessandro Esquovel Saturday morning. The body of the 20 year old man wasn’t in the ocean, but was near the surf line.
Autopsy results are still pending, but Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office investigators say there were no obvious signs of foul play. Esquovel was from the Los Angeles suburb of Downey.
