Firefighters Contain Brush Fire In Ventura County; No Homes Damaged

A six acre brush fire near Santa Paula destroyed a shed, and damaged three others, but Ventura County firefighters were able to quickly contain it

Firefighters are trying to determine the cause of a brush fire which burned about six areas of land in Ventura County, just southeast of Santa Paula.

The fire started just after noon Friday near the Mountain View Golf Course. No homes were destroyed or damaged, but it destroyed a shed, and damaged three others.

More than 80 firefighters battled the blaze, getting the upper hand on it by around 3 p.m. No one was hurt.
