The driver of a car involved in a fatal head-on crash in Ventura County has been arrested.
A car headed westbound on Highway 118 near Vineyard Avenue smashed head on into a tractor-trailer rig which was headed eastbound, and stopped in a turn lane. A Santa Paula man who was a passenger in the car was fatally injured.
His name hasn’t been released yet. The driver of the car in the Wednesday afternoon crash suffered moderate injuries, and was later arrested on a felony driving under the influence charge.
The driver of the big rig was unhurt.
