Contour Airlines plans new Santa Barbara to Las Vegas, and Santa Barbara to Oakland service beginning in October

South Coast residents are soon going to be able to fly non-stop from Santa Barbara to Las Vegas.

Contour Airlines announced that beginning in October, it will offer non-stop daily flights from Santa Barbara to Las Vegas, as well as non-stop flights to Oakland. The airline is flying 30 passenger commuter jets.

Earlier this month, Sun Country began offering non-stop Santa Barbara to Minneapolis flights, and Frontier started new Santa Barbara to Denver service.

The airport now has non-stop flights to nine cities, including Dallas, Phoenix, Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. It serves about three quarters of a million passengers a year.
