Seven people have been arrested in connection with a ring believed to be responsible for more than 20 burglaries in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties.

Ventura County Sheriff’s detectives investigating some daytime burglaries in the Conejo Valley in April noticed some similar break-ins were taking place in Los Angeles County.

The detectives teamed up with Los Angeles County and city investigators. They identified two suspects, and surveillance operations led to five additional people. They are linked to a Los Angeles area street gang.

The seven people were arrested in the last week, and a number of stolen items were recovered. Detectives also seized drugs and a number of weapons.
