Authorities are now identifying two men shot to death in Oxnard earlier this week.
Oxnard Police say Alejandro Sanchez and Christian Morales died as the result of a Wednesday afternoon shooting on the 400 block of East Pleasant Valley Road. Sanchez died at the scene, and Morales died later at a hospital. Detectives think the killings were gang related.
They weren’t the only murders in Oxnard on Wednesday. Early Wednesday morning, the body of Robert De La Cerda was found on the 4000 block of South J Street. Investigators think it was also gang related, although so far they don’t think the shootings are connected.
