Hotline Set Up For Public To Report New Ocean Discoloration Along Ventura County Coastline

We have an update on a story KCLU News first told you about earlier this week, with hundreds of people upset over the mysterious discoloration of water in Oxnard’s Channel Islands Harbor area.

City of Oxnard, and Ventura County officials say testing is underway, but we still don’t have the results yet.

They are continuing to take samples, to try to see if there is any change in the situation.

Oxnard has set up a hotline for people to call if they see new ocean water discoloration, or odors. The number is 805-797-7598.
