Ventura County DA's Investigation Rules Officer Involved Fatal Shooting In Santa Paula Justified

A just completed investigation by Ventura County prosecutors concludes that a Santa Paula police officer was justified in shooting, and fatally wounding a man charging at him with a kitchen knife.

The report closes the books on the investigation into the April, 2017 incident in Santa Paula.
