Two Arrested Following Wild Chase Which Starts In Ventura County, Ends In San Fernando Valley
Two men are behind bars following a carjacking in Ventura County which ended following a chase and four city block search of a neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley.
It started just before three a.m. Monday, when a man was getting into his truck near Oxnard Boulevard and Commercial Avenue in Oxnard. Police say two men armed with a rifle and knife carjacked the vehicle.
Some two hours later, LAPD officers spotted the truck in the San Fernando Valley, leading to a chase which ended when the men abandoned the truck in a Reseda neighborhood. One man was quickly arrested, but it took hours to catch the second man. No one was hurt.
