An effort is underway to help small businesses impacted by the Thomas fire, and debris flows. Some local and federal agencies have teamed up to host a series of events to let people know about available resources.

The Small Business Development Center for Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, Women’s Economic Ventures, and the Small Business Administration are hosting the workshops.

There’s one at the WEV office in Ventura at 6:30 Thursday night, and WEV’s Santa Barbara office next Tuesday. An additional Ventura workshop is set for February 22nd at the WEV office, and two more Santa Barbara events are planned for the 20th and 27th.

The Ventura WEV office is at 290 Maple Court, Suite 256 in Ventura. The Santa Barbara office is at 333 South Salinas Street.
