Authorities Looking For Inmate Missing From Federal Prison On Central Coast

Authorities are on the lookout for an inmate who disappeared from a federal prison facility in Santa Barbara County.

Guards at the Lompoc Federal Corrections Complex discovered Victor Hurtado was missing Thursday afternoon. He had been housed in a minimum security camp at the prison complex, which is designed for lower risk inmates who work on the prison grounds.

The 42 year old man had been serving a 15 year sentence for drug sales. He’s describes as a Hispanic, with long black hair and brown eyes, standing 5 foot 11, and weighing 175 pounds.
