Authorities say a vehicle which was part of an Amber Alert for a missing nine year old boy has been found in Santa Barbara.

The alert was issued early Tuesday morning for Daniel Morozov, who is missing, and is believed to be with his father, Konstantin Morozov.

Santa Maria Police were called to the 200 block of North College Drive Monday night by reports of a shooting. They found the body of a woman, whose name wasn’t released, but she is said to be the boy’s mother. Police were originally searching for one vehicle, but then determined Morozov switched to a second vehicle.

Today, that SUV was found in a Santa Barbara neighborhood. There’s no sign of the father, or son. Authorities are calling Morozov a “person of interest” in the fatal shooting.
