Plea deal reportedly reached in case of South Pasadena man accused of killing five your old son, dumping body in Santa Barbara County

A Los Angeles television station is reporting that a South Pasadena man accused of killing his five year old son, and dumping his body in Santa Barbara County has reached a plea deal with prosecutors.

KNBC-TV says Aramazd Andressian Sr. is expected to plead guilty to first-degree murder during a court appearance later this morning. Andressian is expected to get a sentence of 25 years to life in prison.

Aramazd Andressian Jr. disappeared in April while he was supposed to be in his father’s custody. His body was found near Lake Cachuma June 30th.

The boy’s father was arrested in June, and entered a plea of not guilty. Prosecutors believe the killing was motivated by a bitter divorce.
