Burglary Suspects Fleeing Ventura County Ram Two Police Cars Before Being Arrested

An interrupted burglary in Ventura County led to a wild car chase in which a getaway car rammed into two separate police cars.

A woman arriving home on the 2900 block of Jadestone Avenue in Simi Valley Tuesday morning found two men in her garage, with pillow cases stuffed with property. The two men fled in a car, and the homeowner followed them as she called police.

Officers tried to stop the car at Stearns Street and Highway 118, but the driver rammed a police car, and kept going into the San Fernando Valley. The car got off the freeway in Northridge, and the chase finally ended with a collision with another police car.

No one was seriously injured. Anthony Molina and Josiah Preston of Los Angeles were arrested on charges including burglary and assault on a police officer.
