You’ve heard the expression “the show must go on.”
Well, in Santa Barbara County, even though the Alamo Fire is still burning northeast of Santa Maria, it’s the County Fair which is still going on as usual.
The 2017 Santa Barbara County Fair is now underway, and runs through Sunday at the Santa Maria Fairpark.
Thursday night, popular comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias performs on the fair’s main stage. Friday night, country music star John Michael Montgomery is the headliner, and on Saturday night, LeAnn Rimes takes center stage. Admission to the headliner performances is free with fair admission.
The fair features all of its traditional events as well, ranging from the livestock competition, and crafts, to the carnival midway.
