Brush Fire Blackens More Than 100 Acres Of Land On Central Coast; Highway 166 Closed

A brush fire has blackened about 100 acres of land in San Luis Obispo County, and closed the main highway between Santa Barbara, and Kern Counties.

What’s called the Alamo Fire is burning near Twitchell Reservoir. No structures are reported to be threatened by the blaze. The fire has prompted the closure of Highway 166 between Santa Maria and the Cuyama Valley.
