Beach Boys, Colbie Caillet, Jay Leno Headline New Season For Ventura County Performing Arts Venue

The Beach Boys are among the groups set to perform at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza for the venue's 2017-2018 season

A non-profit performing arts organization has announced the lineup for its new season, which includes everything from “The Beach Boys” to comedian Jay Leno.

The Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza’s in-house presenting division called “CAP” has booked more than two dozen events for its 2017-2018 season.

The music lineup has performers and groups ranging from Colbie Caillat, Kansas, Air Supply, Boz Skaggs, to the Boston Pops. There will be four speakers in conjunction with National Geographic, including astronaut Terry Virts.

And, the comedy lineup includes another visit by Paula Poundstone and an improve show by some of the cast members from the popular TV series “Whose Line Is It Anyway.”

Lance Orozco has been News Director of KCLU since 2001, providing award-winning coverage of some of the biggest news events in the region, including the Thomas and Woolsey brush fires, the deadly Montecito debris flow, the Borderline Bar and Grill attack, and Ronald Reagan's funeral.
