Police Investigating Possible Hate Crime On Central Coast

Authorities are investigating a possible hate crime on the Central Coast.

San Luis Obispo Police say that yesterday morning, they received a report someone had burned a Pride flag in the city. The flag is a symbol of the LGBT community.

Police didn’t release details, but say they are investigating the incident. In a statement, the department calls San Luis Obispo is a welcoming city, and says the agency is committed to the safety and inclusion of all community members.
