Arrest Made In Murder On Central Coast

A Central Coast man is now being held on a murder charge for the death of his girlfriend.

San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s deputies called to a home on the 600 block of Pomeroy Road in Nipomo Wednesday found the body of a 24 year old woman who had a stab wound to her neck. Paulina Ramirez-Diaz was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives questioned Julio Alonso, who lived at the home, and eventually arrested him on a murder charge. There’s no word on a motive for the killing.
