Two Firefighters Injured Battling Blaze On South Coast

Investigators are trying to pinpoint the cause of a house fire which left two firefighters on the South Coast injured.

The fire was discovered at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday, on the 2300 block of Woodpecker Avenue in Ventura.

Two Ventura firefighters suffered minor injuries when part of the ceiling of the home collapsed. The fire was controlled in less than a half hour.
