Brush fire burns near Ojai Sunday afternoon. It was stopped at less than three acres

Ventura County firefighters are trying to determine the cause of a brush fire which caused a brief scare in a neighborhood.

The blaze was discovered just before three p.m. Sunday near the 500 block of Del Oro Drive in Ojai. Wind pushed the fire through a barranca and into some trees and wood piles.

Firefighters quickly stopped the spread of the blaze in about 90 minutes, and had it completely knocked down by 6:30. No structures were damaged.
