There’s a new court commissioner in Santa Barbara County.
Von Deroian has been appointed to fill the vacancy created by the recent retirement of Commissioner Denise Motter.
Deroian is a graduate of the Santa Barbara College of Law. She’s currently a Deputy District Attorney for Santa Barbara County. As a commissioner, she will be primarily handling child support cases throughout the county. She’ll be sworn in next week.
