A former mayor in Ventura County is now the county’s new Assistant Treasurer and Tax Collector.
Sue Horgan served more than a decade as an Ojai City Council member, as well as two terms as the city’s mayor. Horgan has worked in finance for more than 30 years, and is currently a Vice President with Union Bank.
County Treasurer-Tax Collector Steve Hintz says he chose Horgan because of her extensive background in both public service and finance, which are key components of his office.
