14 Arrested In Santa Barbara County As Part Of Statewide Crackdown On Human Trafficking

A massive law enforcement crackdown on human trafficking in California led to 474 arrests, including 14 in Santa Barbara County.

More than 30 local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies took part in a three day effort which include sting operations targeting prostitutes, their clients, and pimps.

As a result of the operation, 28 children and 27 adults who were being forced to participate in sexual activity were rescued. The 14 people arrested in Santa Barbara County include people facing prostitution, pimping, and solicitation of sex charges.
