South Coast Resort Closed For Fumigation

One of the South Coast’s best known resorts is sporting an unusual look this week.

The Fess Parker Resort in Santa Barbara is covered with gigantic red and blue striped tarps, as the entire 300 plus room resort undergoes fumigation for termites. The tarps went up on Monday. The resort is expected to re-open on Friday.

The Doubletree by Hilton Resort was built 30 years ago by actor and developer Fess Parker.
