Investigation Underway Into Charges South Coast College Students Sexually Assaulted By Classmate

Authorities are investigating allegations that a South Coast college student may be responsible for three sexual assaults on classmates.

Cal State Channel Islands Police and Ventura County Sheriff’s Office detectives are looking at three incidents in September and October. Investigators say all three young women were impaired at the time. The male student has not been formally charged at this point.

Nancy Gill, with CSUCI, says following a review by campus officials the student has been placed on an interim suspension pending the outcome of the law enforcement investigation. The interim suspension means he is not allowed on the Camarillo, or any other Cal State University campuses.
