Three Students Hurt In Chain Reaction Accident Involving School Bus On Central Coast

Three students suffered what are being described as minor injuries following a traffic accident involving a school bus on the Central Coast.

The crash happened at about 8:30 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Blosser, and Battles Roads in Santa Maria. CHP officers say a bus with students on board hit an SUV, with other vehicles then involved in a chain reaction crash. Investigators are still trying to determine exactly what led to the crash, but they say it appears one of the vehicles may have run a light at the intersection.

The students were from Arrelanes Junior High.
