Storms Come to South, Central Coasts This Weekend Bringing Rain, Cold Temperatures

Two storms are coming to the South and Central Coasts this weekend, bringing wet weather and cold temperatures.

National Weather Service forecasters say the first storm arrives Saturday, hitting the Central Coast in the morning and then the South Coast in the afternoon. The rain will taper off in the evening. But, another storm will hit Sunday morning.

In addition to wet weather, a cold front will bring unseasonably cool temperatures. It will be especially cold on Sunday, with highs for most areas only reaching the low 60s – which is about eight degrees below normal.

Both storms are expected to bring about a half inch to an inch of rainfall for much of the region.
