Authorities are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in the surf on a Central Coast beach.
A passerby spotted the body around 7:30 Sunday morning at Pismo Beach. Police and paramedics responded, but the woman was pronounced dead about two hours later. Detectives aren’t talking about what they think happened but are calling the death suspicious.
The woman’s name isn’t being released, and investigators aren’t saying anything else except for she was believed to be in her 50’s.
