Police say two people are in custody for a string of home burglaries on the South Coast.
The burglaries have been occurring during the last few weeks in an area of the City of Ventura north of Telegraph Road, and east of Victoria Avenue. Ventura Police detectives say they identified Shannon Salas and Joseph Grizzaffi of Ventura as potential suspects. As they were investigating, the pair was arrested in Santa Barbara County for an unrelated burglary.
Detectives say they recovered some of the stolen items at one of the suspects homes, as well as some drugs.
