Authorities say a man arrested in Ventura County is a serial bank robber in Southern California nicknamed the “Faceless Bandit.”

Kyle Jason Korte was arrested November 10th in Ventura.

FBI agents believe the 36 year old Beverly Hills man is responsible for bank robberies in Laguna Beach, Seal Beach and Torrance, and an attempted bank robbery in Playa Vista. Investigators say he had been released over the summer after serving time in prison for a 2014 bank robbery.

The robber in the recent incidents wore what appeared to be black stockings over his face, leading to the nickname of “Faceless Bandit.”

Korte was taken to Orange County to face the new robbery charges.
