More Student Protests Reported On South Coast Over Presidential Election

The wave of anti-Donald Trump rallies across the country again sparked some local marches on the South Coast today.

Some students from Pacifica, Hueneme, and Oxnard High schools walked out of their classes this morning. Oxnard Police, Port Hueneme Police, and other public safety agencies monitored the walked to insure the safety of the students, and to try to keep traffic disruptions to a minimum. No major problems were reported.

Yesterday, there were walkouts involving some Santa Barbara County high schools, and a rally at UC Santa Barbara.
