It’s a shocking crime by a cold hearted burglar on the South Coast.
Someone broke into the home of an 85 year old blind man in Oxnard early Tuesday morning, on the 500 block of Fairbourne Place.
The victim was awakened by the burglar. The thief punched the elderly man in the face, and then stole some personal items as well as his wheelchair before fleeing.
Oxnard Police detectives are hoping some may have seen the burglar leaving the area with the wheelchair, and can help identify him.
