Four Arrested In Connection With String Of Ventura, LA County Burglaries

Authorities say they’ve broken up a burglary ring based in Ventura County with the arrests of four people.

Simi Valley Police say they started investigating a series of daytime burglaries in July. The burglaries were so-called “knock-knock” burglaries, with the burglars knocking on the front door, and when no one would answer, they would enter the home through rear windows or sliding glass doors. Detectives identified four suspects, and started a surveillance operation.

Working with the LAPD, the four were arrested following a burglary in the Chatsworth area. The investigators say they believe the four Simi Valley residents stole more than $130,000 worth of jewelry, credit cards, cash and guns from homes in eastern Ventura County, and western Los Angeles County.
