A South Coast symphony has named a new Executive Director.
Kevin Marvin is already a familiar face in the Santa Barbara County arts scene, serving as Executive Director of the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra since 2014. Marvin worked in the banking world for years before moving into the non-profit sector. He’s credited with helping to bolster attendance and finances of the Chamber Orchestra. Marvin will move into the symphony’s top slot December 1st.
He’s filling the vacancy created by the departure of David Pratt, who left to become Executive Director of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in Brisbane, Australia.
