Tires slashed on dozens of vehicles in Carpinteria

Authorities are trying to figure out who was behind a wave of vandalism in a South Coast community which left more than two dozen vehicles damaged.

The attacks occurred sometime after two a.m. Wednesday in Carpinteria, with tires on numerous vehicles slashed.

There’s no word on a possible motive, and no suspects have been arrested in connection with the vandalism.
