It took nearly a month, but a wildfire which burned more than 32,000 acres of land in Santa Barbara County has been fully contained.
The Rey Fire started August 18th in the Los Padres National Forest north of Santa Barbara. The fire started in the White Rock Day Use Picnic area. No structures were reported damaged by the blaze, which burned into a number of remote and rugged wilderness areas, making it tough to stop.
It was declared fully contained on Friday. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
