A Ventura County man is facing multiple charges after detectives say he placed a small video camera in the restroom of a Moorpark home where a child’s birthday party was being held.
Ventura County Sheriff’s investigators say the owner of the home discovered the camera after the July 2nd party. He called the Sheriff’s Office. Detectives say the found the camera had recorded more than 14 victims, include four children.
As they continued their investigation, they identified Sergio Salgado of Moorpark as a suspect. The 53 year old man was arrested during a traffic stop Wednesday on charges including burglary, use of a concealed camera, and possession of child pornography.
