A Ventura County art museum with a vision of creating a permanent home in Thousand Oaks has a new executive director.
Tish Greenwood has been selected to head the California Museum of Art Thousand Oaks. Greenwood has a Master’s degree from Georgetown in Museum Studies, and worked as an administrator at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles for more than a decade.
The museum currently does exhibitions at its operation center, on Thousand Oaks Boulevard next to the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. Plans call for building a permanent museum next to the City Hall and performing arts center complex.
