Ventura County Man Arrested On Drug Charges Also Accused Of Elder Abuse

It started as a drug dealing case against a Ventura County man, but also led to elder abuse charges involving his mother.

Oxnard Police say following a three month investigation, they served a search warrant on the 3200 block of Taffrail Lane yesterday. They arrested four people on drug related charges, including Jeffrey Schultz. Police say at the same time, they discovered Schultz’s elderly mother was being cared for by drug users. Investigators say the 74 year old woman had obvious signs of neglect, and was taken to a hospital.

Schultz was arrested on charges of maintaining a drug house, selling narcotics, and elder abuse.
