National Book Award Winner, Pulitzer Prize Nominated Author On South Coast For Reading Of New Play

Joyce Carol Oates receives the National Humanities Medal from President Obama in 2010

One of America’s leading authors is on the South Coast this week, leading up to a public reading tonight of her latest play.

Joyce Carol Oates has written more than 40 novels, and is a winner of the prestigious National Book Award.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco talks with Oates about her new play, her writing, and even has a sneak preview of her latest novel which has yet to be published.
