New Economic Forecast By Ventura County Team Says State, National Long Term Outlooks Weak

A new report from some Ventura County based economists says that the state, and national economic long term outlooks are both weak.

The California Lutheran University Center for Economic Research and Forecasting just released its second quarter California, and U.S. forecasts. The report says that short term, the state’s economy will outperform the nation’s, but not by much. The CLU team says that while the state’s short term financial situation has improved dramatically, the long term outlook remains week.

According to forecasters, the growth will be it lower than post World War Two averages.
