Firefighters are hoping to nail down full containment of Santa Barbara County’s Sherpa brush fire this week.

The fire hasn’t grown during the last several days, but firefighters have been trying to nail down isolated hot spots. Containment has been in the 90% range for the last few days.

More than 300 people are still working on full containment of the blaze, which started June 15th. No homes were lost. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
