UC Santa Barbara’s baseball team is going to the College World’s Series for the first time in the school’s history, following an incredible playoff win Sunday.
UCSB was down 3-0 in the ninth inning to Louisville when the Gauchos loaded the bases. Freshman Sam Cohen, who had only 26 at bats all season for UCSB, hit a grand slam home run. UCSB won 4-3, earning a trip to the College World Series. It starts this weekend in Omaha, Nebraska.
