Voters Approve Two School Bond Measures In Ventura, Santa Barbara Counties

Voters gave thumbs up to two school bond measures in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.

In Santa Paula, a nearly $40 million dollar bond measure to repair, and renovate aging schools passed by a 60%/40% margin. It needed a 55% yes vote to pass.

And, in the Cuyama Joint Unified School District, voters approved a six million dollar bond measure to improve aging school facilities. The school district overlaps two counties. In Santa Barbara County, it was called A2016, where it passed by a 70%-30% margin. And in Ventura County, it was Measure Q, where it received a 93% yes vote.
